Mother's Day Baking

On Thursday and Friday this week, some of the children from our 5/6 Community were given the opportunity to find a recipe and bake for the Mother's Day afternoon tea.

It was great to see how many aspiring bakers and chefs we have in 5/6. They all picked excellent recipes for all sorts of delicious treats. Here is a list of all the yummy things we baked:
- Cherry Ripe muffins: Ethan, Will and Charlie
- Chocolate Brownies: Andrew, Elektra and Hanna
- Pizzas: Julian, Dylan and Noah
- Banana Bread: Josh, Jaime and Jason
- Chocolate Balls: Emma S, Rowina and Paris
- Caramel Slice: Dana, Mia R and Jade
- Lemon Slice: Caroline, Cassandra and Danait
- Red Velvet Cupcakes: Mia F, Daniela and Bella
- Pinata Cupcakes: Tamarisa, Betty and Balika
- Choc Chip Cookies: Gabriella, Michael and Chanel
- Apple Pies: Peter, Aidan and Quan

kitchen over the last two days!

  5. Thank you for the lovely afternoon tea. I really enjoyed the Pinata cup cake and a slice of quiche. The grade 5/6s did a wonderful job with their baking and waiting on us in the afternoon. No one would have gone hungry. :-)

    Cheers Bernadette
